Hippo Deck Tape is a tough, self-adhesive tape made from mesh cloth and high-tack acrylic adhesive, designed to protect timber and other materials in all weather conditions. It’s ideal for indoor and outdoor use and helps extend the life of your decking by creating a waterproof seal on joists and subframes.
By applying it to the tops of joists, it prevents water from pooling and causing timber to rot – especially useful when using longer-lasting composite decking. It sticks to damp or frozen surfaces, is easy to tear by hand, and doesn’t contain solvents or butyl.
