British Gypsum's Thistle DriCoat is a water resistant cement based undercoat plaster designed for re-plastering walls after floods or after fitting new damp proof courses. Walls that have dried after flooding contain hygroscopic salts that absorb moisture and result in persistent damp. British Gypsum's Thistle DriCoat prevents hygroscopic salts from migrating into the plaster and protects interior decoration from damage. When using Thistle DriCoat, it should always be skimmed with Thistle Board Finish.
