Spruce Ornamental Bark is a dark brown versatile, environmentally friendly mulch, processed from natural British material. The bark replaces the need for expensive flower bed hoeing, chemical weeding, and eliminates the need for excessive plant watering. Melcourt's bark naturally supresses weed growth on planted landscape areas. Minimising drought stress and plant death, the bark helps to conserve soil moisture, particularly in dry weather. The bark is easy to lay and install, requires little subsequent maintenance and allows clean access onto mulched area for plant pruning.
